Use 25 grams with 500 mL distilled water. Autoclave for 45 mins to 1 hour at 15 PSI. One 50g jar is enough media to pour 50-100 Petri dishes, depending if you use 10 or 20 mL per dish. This malt extract agar media contains a mixture of agar, malt, yeast extract, soy protein and dextrose. It is specially formulated for mycelial growth.
